What is DragonFly?

Think RedBox, then think Phone Repair.

We have developed a small, easy to use kiosk that will be placed in easily accessible locations (Cell Phone Stores, Grocery Stores, etc). Consumers will be able to visit a kiosk, tap through a simple series of questions, and then the phone, tablet, or watch is locked securely inside the box.

Immediately after the device is checked in, we will dispatch a technician to repair the device. After the repair is complete, the consumer can return to the kiosk and pick up their device.

Questions about being a retailer

Send an email to retailers@dragonflyrepairs.com, and include your contact information, the types of services you offer, and a link to your company's website if available.
We do not charge to place a kiosk in your store. We feel our relationship is symbiotic. We have mutual customers, we don't compete, and offer complementing services. Our marketing efforts will increase traffic to your store, and will increase customer loyalty. We also incourage our clients to purchase accessories from you.
Our kiosk will take up less than 4sqft of space in your store. It can be mounted onto a floor stand or we can mount it onto a wall.
Yes, the kiosk does need an internet connection to function. It can run on a standard wired ethernet connection or Wifi. If an internet connection is unavailable we can use the built-in cellular modem.

Repairs for iPhones must be completed within 4 hours, all other repairs must be completed by the end of the following business day. We offer bonuses to technicians that consistently complete repairs ahead of schedule.
We pay you immediately after each repair is completed. We do our payouts through Stripe.com. Typically they deposit the money into your account within 2 days. They also offer an instant payout feature if you want to get paid quicker. Visit Stripe's website for more information.
Yes, you must provide your own parts (which you are immediately reimbursed for). We also require you to purchase those parts from an approved vendor. We understand it can be expensive to stock all of those parts, which is why we only offer same day repairs for Apple phones.
No, you do not need to own an existing repair business. However, you will need to meet insurance requirements and pass our certification process. Also, keep in mind that because we are offering same day repairs on Apple devices, you will be required to stock approximately $3,000 worth of parts.
You will be able to schedule time-off within your portal. We ask that any vacations be posted to your schedule at least two weeks in advance so we can temporarily assign kiosks to another technician. If you are sick, you can tell us through the portal and we will either temporarily disable the kiosks in your area or assign them to another technician until you return.

You can also assign the repairs to another DragonFly certified technician that you know.
